The Cisco ENCOR training is designed for network engineers and professionals who want to gain a broad range of knowledge and skills in network architecture, virtualization, security, and automation.

Prior knowledge

To participate in the Cisco ENCOR training, you must have some knowledge of networks and be able to design and implement simple networks. Experience with managing networks is also helpful.

• Implementation of Enterprise LAN networks
• Basic understanding of Enterprise routing and wireless connectivity
• Basic understanding of Python scripting

The process consists of 5 consecutive training days, which are spread over a period of 3 to 5 weeks. During the training moments, the subject matter is processed on the basis of demos and technical training. In the meantime, you are expected to practice, create labs and review the subject matter yourself.

You can practice at home with your own computer.

We ask you to prepare for each lesson properly by reviewing the teaching materials, so that the trainer can better respond to the needs of each participant.

1. Enterprise Network Architectures and Components: In this section, you'll learn to understand the architecture and components of an enterprise network. 2. Virtualization and Network Virtualization: This section covers the basics of virtualization and how to use virtualization to make more efficient use of network resources. You'll also learn about network virtualization, where one physical network is divided into multiple virtual networks.
3. Corporate network security: In this section, you'll learn the basics of network security and how to protect corporate networks against outside threats. You'll learn about different types of threats, including malware and hackers, and how to detect and prevent them.
4. Enterprise network automation: This section covers network automation, automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error. You'll learn about programming languages and tools that can be used to automate networks.
5. Corporate Network Management: In this section, you'll learn about managing corporate networks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting. You'll learn how to measure network performance and how to resolve issues when they occur.
6. Application optimization: This section is about optimizing applications for the corporate network. You'll learn about different types of applications, such as voice and video, and how to properly configure them to achieve maximum performance.
