Description
This Cisco Certified Networking Associate course provides a broad insight into the world of Networking and forms the basis for many career paths in the IT world. With a good balance between theory and DIY labs, you will be able to set up, manage, configure and work with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols in no time.
The course will cover the basics of network components such as switches, routers and wireless LAN controllers, manage network devices and identify basic network security risks. We also provide a basis in network programmability via scripts, automation, and software-defined networks.
In short, we'll prepare you for an Associate Level in Networking and the 200-301 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.
What do you learn?
- Build simple LANs and perform basic configurations for routers and switches
- Deploying IPv4 and IPv6 Address Schemes
- Configure routers, switches, and end devices to provide access to local and remote network resources and enable end-to-end connectivity between external devices
- Critical and problem solving using real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer
- Resolve small network connectivity issues using security best practices
- Working with routers, switches, and wireless devices to configure and troubleshoot VLANs, wireless LANs, and inter-VLAN routing
- Supporting available and reliable networks using dynamic addressing and first-hop redundancy protocols
- Working with OSPF routers and switches in point-to-point and multiaccess networks
- Mitigate threats and improve network security using access control lists and security best practices
- Understanding virtualization, SDN, and how APIs and configuration management tools enable network automation
Audience
If you already have some experience in networking or a first-line support desk, and you want to start focusing on Networking, then this training is ideal for you.
