Description
The main goal of this course is to provide participants with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of relational databases and SQL. At the end of the course, participants will be able to apply standardization techniques, manage users in an RDBMS, use indexing to retrieve data more efficiently, and design and use stored procedures for reusability.
Audience
This course is intended for advanced participants who already have some basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL. It is designed to further develop their skills and teach them advanced concepts and techniques in managing relational databases.
Prior knowledge: basic knowledge as described in the “RDBMS & SQL Introduction” is required to participate in this course. Attendees should be familiar with the fundamentals of relational databases and SQL queries.
Methods
The course is offered through instructor-led lessons. Participants will receive practical exercises and assignments to practice their skills. The emphasis is on hands-on learning, where participants are actively writing code and solving issues.
Contents
Standardisation techniques (1NF, 2NF, 3NF) and their application to data models.
Managing user accounts and authorizations in an RDBMS.
Use indexes to improve query performance
Design and implementation of stored procedures for reusability and efficiency
Certification
